Dorothy Dandridge Inspired Look

I love me some Carmen Jones! That movie was awesome. Harry Belafonte and Dorothy Dandridge were a match made in cinema heaven. As you can probably tell I love the fashions of the 40's and 50's. Clothing was constructed better and the material was of actual quality. Being sexy wasn't something that was so overt. Ms. Dandridge had a lovely figure but she did not going around exposing it to everyone. Her neck, shoulders, and collar bone were her signatures. She was fiesty and that is what inspired this look.

The off the shoulder tops are definitely a signature of Ms. Dandridge. So I included them here. The look is complete with leggings and ballet flats. The animal print flats bring a sense of fun. Simple. Clean. Classic. Sexy. I especially love this look because women of all shapes and sizes can grap ahold of their inner sexy with this look. This look is perfect for the end of Sprinter going into Spring.  This year let's be ladies and be sexy at the same time!
